I will always remember how much I enjoyed the music from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour to the reception. I'm reading his last McMorrow book now, Damaged Goods, and I'm enjoying it. I discovered them online and was very nervous about having never heard them perform live, but I took a chance and was so pleased with my decision. Boyle's writing style pulls you in bit by bit, never throws you a bunch of red herrings, and always faithfully wraps the story up in his most excellent fashion. His books are chock full of twists and turns, suspense, excellent dialogue and descriptions which don't get in the way of the story, and his characters are real, not cardboard.

I enjoy all Gerry Boyle's books, but like the McMorrow series the best. Super accommodating, easy going, and they make the event so incredibly personal. I now have Gerry Boyle's entire collection, autographed.

They were great to work with and walked us through the planning process as far as song selections went.

Extremely professional throughout the whole process, and lived up to the rave reviews we read about before hand. They were great to work with and accommodated some special requests that we had with going "unplugged" for a few hours. They haven't read the Jack McMorrow series yet, but that's on my to-do list -- to send them some of his books from this series. Each member of Cover Story has been playing for many years. We had them for our Newport Wedding ceremony and reception in June, 2016.

Students beyond middle school (even up to adults) who need to develop their writing skills should also find the program inspiring and not at all too young. Not so with Boyle. He's also never forgiven the D.A., John Fiore, who failed to prosecute the case aggressively. The band consists of male and female vocalists that add a massive range of song possibilities. He's truly a master at what he does and I hope he becomes a household word. Throughout the planning process Chris and Tiffany were quick to respond to e-mails and very helpful on phone calls. They also were available at any time to answer all of our questions. I now have Gerry Boyle's entire collection, autographed. They did a phenomenal horrah for our jewish wedding! Everyone was dancing and singing the whole time - and they made our day so special. They are a talented bunch and made our dream of having an epic dance party come true! I've spent a lot of time trying to find something that would spark the creativity I knew they had and Cover Story has done just that. Chris, Tiffany, Kim and everyone else thank you so much! Now you will learn some more about Jack's background (why he left NY for Maine) and his life in NY. Jack McMorrow, ex-journalist for the Times and retired Detective Butch Casey have been friends since childhood, although they haven't seen each other since the murder of Casey's wife ten years ago. People are still talking about the band 2 weeks later and asking where they can catch them again. I came across Cover Story Entertainment while researching local bands with good reviews.

Their music is incredible and they do a great job of engaging the crowd. We went over the type of music we wanted and they exceeded our expectations. Mysteries with reporters as sleuths have an honorable history in the genre, but, having been a reporter for 30+ years, I find most of them ring false, regardless of the merits of their mystery plots. They even were able to have 2 acoustic guitars come and play for our ceremony on the beach!! They have a great presentation and sound, and really adds a unique element to your wedding. BOOK US TODAY. They kept the party going and I got many compliments on what a great band they were and what a fun party it was! We wish we could get married again so that they could play for us another time! The lead vocalists are both extremely talented and engaging, running out to the dance floor and sharing the mic and dancing with people.
The best part of it all was that when we overnighted our final payment to the band the USPS "lost" it for a week and a half and Chris continued to talk me off the edge as I was about to have a mental breakdown over it. I really can't say enough about how this series and the characters have progressed.
