I even showed him a table with 3 girls who got there 5 minutes after us, but the only difference was they got to sit down right away and later a friend showed up and sat down with them and he said  "well they had reservation for 3 at first" INCREDIBLE!

First let me say Skip, our server, was outstanding❣️ I’m not really a Mexican food lover, however every now & then I come across a winner & this is totally one of those times. Social distancing and cleanliness. The view of downtown SD is top notch and the service was on point.Coasterra makes parking simple with our personable valet service for both lunch & dinner.

I rarely post to Yelp, but our experience was so overwhelmingly good, I wanted others to know just how delicious the food was and that we had one of the best customer-service experiences we've had in 18 years of dining in SD.Coasterra has done an excellent job with Covid.

You absolutely cannot beat...My family and I got dinner reservations on a Saturday towards the end of Restaurant Week. With the pandemic, obvious What a joke.

I have been a few times before and this was certainly my favorite trip - the music was on, it was very lively and is a beautiful place to return to. Service was great.This has always been a favorite location, but the food was hit and miss. The place was quiet when we visited, and it is well laid out, with no loud background music to impede conversation. The view of San Diego was amazing!! The corn poblano soup is amazing!The drinks were delicious but seemed a little weak. With the pandemic, obviously a Prom was extra special. The view is a dream! We had already eaten lunch so I can't speak to that but if the chance I would suggest stopping by for a visit.

Are they offering sit-down dining?All the waiters and host are wearing masks and require all patrons to wear masks until they are seated. The desserts were memorable! The most beautiful view San Diego has to offer- HANDS DOWN.

The only comment is food, we ordered a quesadilla but it's salty and too much salt.Food was very good, can't beat the views. The view is a dream! View is spectacular.

Every table in the restaurant is for 4 people  for more people (see photo attached) So I was getting very mad looking and listening how groups of 2 or 3 were getting tables for 4 but not us. I’ll try island prime next time for the view but otherwise prefer the food at the Brig.We enjoyed dining at Coasterra and the view was amazing!Everything was perfect, from the friendly greeting from the hostess to the food.I loved this experience at Coasterra!

Go thirsty because they have...Arrived for a 9:30pm booking to be confronted by a sign saying that whatever price they charged would be +4%, as they had to increase staff wages on minimum pay but clearly didn't want to show this raise on the menu! They've updated their menu and we both found good choices and food was very good. Had friends driving down from Newport Beach so wanted the Bay view of the city and outdoor seating of course so I made the reservation for Coasterra. Coasterra Restaurant is a sleek, modern wedding venue overlooking the beautiful San Diego Bay. Every dining area offers spectacular skyline views of San Diego. We started at a bar table and then a table right on the water became available. Here is our Happy Hour description on our website. Nachos and seafood all looked good.I told my host in San Diego that I like good Mexican food and I wasn't disappointed by her selection. We were celebrating a special occasion and made a dinner reservation in advance, and got a lovely window table with a view of the harbour.

Not even offering to take their picture or anything. Make sure to make a reservation before coming in or be prepared to wait. Our food gave myself and my mom food poisoning and on top of that the manager wouldn't allow my mom who has asthma and lung problems to go use the restroom because she can't put on a mask.

Certainly can't beat the view and love the open patio that makes dining a comfortable experience during this pandemic.Great food , great service, great view, and a great time!You are definitely paying for the view not the food.
