I tried the lobster ravioli, which was decent. My favorite on the menu: their veal piccata. Last night my girldfriend and I headed to this local Italian restaurant. This is a gem in the neighborhood.

If you skip desert you're mad but get ready for a fun comfortable and tasty experienceI don't normally go out for Italian good but I heard good things about this place. Yum!We picked up dinner here on March 28 (aka during the COVID-19 pandemic) and I wanted to let other yelp-ers know that they are open! The pastas are definitely homemade and delicious (lobster ravioli and salsiccia e pepperonata) - great sized portions, lots of flavor, and worth breaking your light carb diet for. The waiters/staff were really kind and helpful as we ordered. We all ordered different items. I'm from New Jersey and have lived in the area for a little over two years. My husband had the chicken Parmesan and I had the lobster ravioli both were fabulous as was my tiramisu. Service was ok.Il Radicchio reminds me of the local neighborhood Italian joints that I grew up with in Massachusetts. It's very close to my condo, so I checked the Yelp reviews. How is this business handling reopening? Flavors were so-so.

You can build your own bowl of pasta by choosing a pasta type, a sauce, and add-ons such as pancetta, meatballs, or broccolini, or you can order one of their specialty pastas such as artichoke ravioli with caramelized onions, goat cheese, and mushroom ragu.

You can even switch up the pasta when you order a refill.Basic people love this restaurant and say it's good. Love this place it smells delicious and tastes even better. Il Radicchio is your typical neighborhood place: reliable, reasonably priced, and deliciously under the radar. The fam and I are there on a nice, *warm* Saturday in February and the place is crawling with people. If you're looking for a pizza place that is on the road less traveled in Arlington, look no further than Il Radicchio. I liked that they had a separate area on the top floor for large groups. We couldn't get our call to go through via IPhone but could with android...who knows. Went for the first time and was not disappointed. I highly recommend this place! Prices... Standard for Italian in NOVA. A dine-in deal where you can order all the pasta you want, you only pay for the sauce (refills at half price) and any a-la-carte add-ins. Despite the highish price it was definitely worth every penny and I can't wait to return.I really really wanted to love this place and looked for redeeming points along the way but I have to face the fact that I don't quite understand how this restaurant is in business.
