You know, I started doing drag before “RuPaul’s Drag Race”; I didn’t even know famous drag queens except for RuPaul, and my information about her was limited. I was being myself the whole time and sometimes I use jokes and references that I liked to think “came out of nowhere”.

Seattle is really fascinating for the drag community, because we have every kind of queen in the actual show, We expect to see a shock queen, a pageant queen, a comedy queen, a campy queen, a fishy queen, etc all in one show. I’ve also written a book about the crazy shenanigans that have happened to me, and I hope to have that out by Drag Con. Unfortunately, Turner was sent packing after a mind blowing lip sync with Derrick Barry. The episode has contestants impersonate famous divas and lip sync to a medley of RuPaul songs. I’ve been touring a lot already, so I am excited to keep doing that. Turner lost the lip-sync battle to Derrick Barry, a Britney Spears impersonator, who seems to have only one trick up his sleeve. The goal is to go on tour and then put it on television. For example, putting Diana Vreeland and “Saved By The Bell” together and they were like, no idea what “Saved By The Bell,” [was] so both things ended up being lost. You come to expect to see such variety in our shows, so I am really surprised that only Jinkx, Ben and I have been on “the Race”.

For three days Drag Queens, artists, celebrities, shops, musicians, and fans gather downtown to experience Drag Race in person. I’m really glad that in last week’s episode they showed that Bob The Drag Queen had fifteen minutes to put on his makeup and was still a full boy.
