Q  What is infertility ?

 It is  failure to achieve pregnancy even after one year of un interrupted  intercourse during the most fertile period of cycle i.e the time around the ovulation period .

 

Q When does Ovulation occurs ?

 In a women with  28 days cycle ovulation mostly occurs at day 14 of the cycle .

 

Q What is fertile window  ?

 

The window of fertile period can be calculated  by  subtracting 18 days from the length of her shortest  previous cycles  that is the first day on which she is fertile and by subtracting  11 days from the length of her longest previous cycle  she can calculate the last day on which she is fertile .

 

Q   What is the frequency of having intercourse during this period ?

If you have sex every other day during this window, you have a 25% chance of getting pregnant. If you have sex every day during this period, your chances go down just slightly to 22%.
